- UKVI RAG is the UK Visas and Immigration Red-Amber-Green sponsor rating system for UK universities.
- UKVI assigns every licensed student sponsor a Green, Amber, or Red rating.
- Three metrics: visa refusal rate, student enrolment rate, course completion rate.
- Worst-metric rule: the single weakest metric sets the overall band.
- Green: refusal below 4%, enrolment above 96%, completion above 92%.
- Amber: borderline on any metric; CAS issuance may be frozen.
- Red: significantly below thresholds; CAS cut by at least 10%, licence risk.
- Official UKVI public band lists expected from summer 2027.
